The AMEXORS Blue Heat-Activated NiTi Rotary Files are manufactured using a multi-stage heating and cooling protocol that produces a distinctive blue titanium-oxide layer on the flute surface. Unlike standard austenitic NiTi files that attempt to spring back to a straight position inside a curved root, this blue heat-activated alloy remains primarily in the martensitic phase at intraoral temperatures, allowing it to flex smoothly around acute apical curves.
The controlled memory behavior enables clinicians to pre-bend the file to bypass coronal obstructions or ledges before activating rotation. Meanwhile, the hard titanium-oxide surface layer compensates for the softer martensitic core by maintaining cutting edge sharpness across the SX–F3 shaping and finishing sequence.
