AMEXORS NiTi Reciprocating Endo Files (Ledge Removal & Reverse Cutting)
Overcoming Iatrogenic Ledges with Precision Encountering a ledge during root canal preparation often halts the procedure and compromises the success of the treatment. Standard continuous rotary files are prone to binding and exacerbating the ledge. The AMEXORS Reciprocating Series provides a mechanical solution to this exact problem. By utilizing asymmetrical reciprocating kinematics, this instrument safely navigates past obstructions, allowing practitioners to confidently reclaim the true canal trajectory without the fear of file separation.
The AMEXORS Reciprocating File is an advanced endodontic instrument engineered exclusively for asymmetrical reciprocating motor kinematics, specifically optimized for ledge bypass and complex canal shaping.
Asymmetrical Reciprocating Kinematics Unlike traditional continuous rotation, this instrument operates on an unequal bidirectional rotational cycle. This specific motion profile continually relieves torsional stress on the NiTi shaft. By momentarily reversing direction, the file effectively breaks the "taper lock" effect, preventing the instrument from binding into the dentinal walls, which is critical when attempting to bypass a ledge.
Reverse Cutting Flute Geometry To synchronize with the reciprocating motion, the cross-sectional geometry and flute helices are machined in reverse compared to standard rotary files. The active cutting edges are positioned to engage and shear dentin during the counter-clockwise phase. The inactive clockwise phase serves to clear debris and release stress. This unique architecture prevents the file from aggressively screwing into the canal, providing enhanced tactile control at the apical third.
Thermomechanical Phase Transition The files undergo a sophisticated heat treatment protocol that dictates a predominantly martensitic phase at clinical temperatures. This thermal processing grants the alloy exceptional ductility and shape-memory characteristics. The heightened flexibility allows the file's tip to passively track the true canal pathway beyond the ledge, rather than aggressively creating a new false canal.
