In wide anatomical root canals—such as maxillary central incisors, palatal roots of maxillary molars, canines, or teeth with immature apices—an F3 (#30) instrument is often insufficient to achieve thorough apical debridement and tug-back fit. The AMEXORS Large-Diameter F4 (#40) and F5 (#50) NiTi Rotary Files extend the standard SX–F3 sequence to provide accurate apical gauging and finishing for wide canal morphologies.
Because metal stiffness increases significantly as instrument diameter expands to #40 and #50, conventional austenitic large-size files can create apical ledges or zipping. To mitigate this risk, AMEXORS manufactures the F4 and F5 files using heat-treated NiTi wire combined with a modified cross-section that reduces core mass, allowing the larger-diameter tips to negotiate gentle apical curves without excessive lateral stiffness.
