Through specialized heat treatment, the NiTi alloy remains in a stable martensitic state at room and body temperature. This allows clinicians to manually pre-curve the file tip before entering the pulp chamber—a practical advantage when accessing posterior molars in patients with limited interarch space or bypassing abrupt canal curvatures.
